Twenty Eight Weeks!

Even thought there's no history of any pregnancy complications, it's still a relief to hit the twenty eight week mark. Just knowing that my little bugger would make it if anything were to happen is reassuring. And since I'm having another section, I only have eleven weeks left! I'm "working" today and I just found out that one of our regular patients passed away on Monday. Obviously, working in oncology, I get this a lot, but I guess I just sort of deluded myself into thinking that since I'm in the ambulatory infusion center now, that these patients are healthier and I wouldn't have to do the whole death-and-dying-thing. Of course that's not true! Ugh. Oh well. He went out comfortably, which is the best we can hope for in our line of work.
