Here is Ava holding her baby brother for the very first time.
Scott didn't want to hold Warren at first, but after he saw Ava doing it, he warmed up to the idea. He only lasted a few seconds, but I was really impressed! Here he is, giving one of his famous open mouthed kisses.
Here is Ava and Warren on Friday afternoon, a little while after we got home from the hospital. The big kids were napping when we got home, so they got a special treat when they woke up and Daddy was here to bring them downstairs.
And here are my two little boys!
My first picture of all three of my children.
Scott did better than I hoped for when we got his old bottles out. He took one sip, made a terrible face, and hasn't reached for it since. He does like to help shake it up, and this first time he was willing to help feed the baby. He hasn't been interested since!
And here is Ava, in all her glory, finally getting to feed her real live baby. Man, was she ever excited!
We are all doing well, adjusting our schedules as needed for this new little guy. I'm a little more sore than I thought, but after overdoing it yesterday, I've been taking it easy today, round the clock on my pain meds, and I feel so much better. Again, we are so blessed to have Michelle here to help, I'd be absolutely miserable without her!
