New Favorite Recipe

So now that we have three little ones, we never really eat out anymore. We cooked a lot before Warren, but now we literally cook every single meal, so we're having to get a little creative! One of my favorite go-to's for new recipes is Sam the Cooking Guy, he's awesome. It's all super easy, quick, and you don't need a lot of fancy cooking gadgets. That's like, his motto. So I decided to spread the wealth and post one of my to-die-for faves from him. Arika, this is for you :) Quick, easy, and oh so good!

1 10 oz pre baked pizza crust
1 3 oz container pesto sauce
1 4 oz Garlic & Herb soft spreadable cheese (I use Allouette)
3/4 cup fresh shredded parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 450
Spread Herb & Garlic cheese over pizza crust
Spread about half of the pesto evenly over top of cheese
Sprinkle parmesan over top of pesto. That's it!
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until it starts to get bubbly and a little brown
Cool for a few minutes and then slice into thin wedges

Now, that's Sam the Cooking guy saying that he uses Allouette. I personally use the Laughing Cow Light Garlic Spread, it comes in a circle of eight soft wedges, and each wedge is less than one WW point! You can buy pesto next to spaghetti sauce, and seriously, only use three ounces. First time I did it, I used four and it was way too overpowering. In his book, he says he uses it as an appetizer, but we eat it for dinner, with some veggies and a salad. If you cut it into eight slices, it's five points a piece, which is a little high, but totally worth it!

  1. 1. A harry potter countdown ???
    2. Thanks for the recipe! This guy sounds easy! I really want to make some things out from Deceptively Delicious, but I don't have a food processor and the cheapest one is $40 and that is a lot to spend on one thing!
    3. Are you really gonna move to Guam?!?!!
    4. Why is brody so darn stiff and solid and compact 24/7? And his hands are still in fists all the time.
