Chuck E Cheese's

It's more than a little absurd to me that Guam has a Chuck E Cheese's, but no Walgreens.  You can hop over to Tiffany's for some jewelry, but you can't buy Kleenex Cottenelle toilet paper.  Say what?

But they DO have a Chuck E Cheese's, so we occasionally take advantage of it.  And with Michelle, when we're only outnumbered four to three, we thought it was as good a time as any to go.

Can you think of a game more tailor-made for Warren than Wack-A-Mole? Me either.  Of course, it's called something else here, but it's Wack-A-Mole.  And he LOVED it.

Didn't QUITE get the gist of ski-ball.  He thought it was perfectly acceptable to climb onto the strip where you're supposed to ROLL the ball, lean over, and drop the ball right into the hole.  Hey, I guess if I could have gotten away with that, I would do it too.  Great way to rack up seven thousand tickets so that you can finally buy that tootsie roll you've been after!!!

Just joshin.  We used our seven thousand tickets to buy these awesome plastic star glasses.  I mean, THAT was eighty bucks well spent, look how cute they are!!!

  1. LOOOVE that last pic of you and Warren! So precious! He loves his mama :)

  2. Hi! I found your blog a few days ago doing some searches about Guam. I just wanted to say hi, and I appreciate so much all that you say, it gives me a true idea of what it's like over there. You are a very funny lady! :)

My husband is Navy, (EOD) and we're considering going there next year. We did do a 3 year tour in Sicily so I am familiar with living in a poor area with no Target and Starbucks, but do actually really miss it now. By the time we left Sicily I thought I would never EVER go back to an overseas station, I was so homesick. It was so hard with babies. I had one over there as well. Two years later we miss it SO much, it's hard to believe but you will. :) We'll have older kids by then (atleast out of diapers.. right now they are 5, 3, 1.. all girls) so it might be nice to get some more travels in before he retires.

We are near Chicago now (g.lakes) and have a year before we'd head over but I will keep up with your blog to see how it's going. So you can put a face to a name and know I'm not a total freak/stalker my blog is:
I'm a photographer so there's a mix of personal and client but that's us at the top!

Our old Sicily blog (incase you ever want to go there and see what it's like:)is:

    Thanks for sharing your life!!!!
