Fixed It!

Well, I finally fixed it! Thanks to Ole Miss Mom, I got the picture thing sorted out.  Phew.  See, we here at The Engelbrecht Family don't discriminate- we CAN associate with people who didn't go to Auburn.  We just like Auburn people better :)  But seriously, hers was one of the first blogs I ever began stalking and one of the reason I wanted to start mine, it's pretty good, check her out.
So anyway.  I CAN post pics now, so I did.  I don't really have anything to say.  As usual.  The boat is back, so after a month off, Nick has to go to work now.  It's sort of strange! I mean, a month is a LONG time, we were pretty used to having him around.  We're still not anywhere near our old structure and routine, but we're getting there, I guess.  It's hard for me to get motivated to do anything normal, because my amazing sister in law is doing all the yucky chores and crap like that for me.  Thanks Michelle! I'm no longer sore at all from the c section, but for some reason I'm absolutely exhausted, even though most nights Daisy sleeps for three hours, eats for twenty minutes, then sleeps another three solid hours.  Repeat.  So it's not that.
Warren is constantly allowing Ava to dress him up in her clothes.  That girl NEEDS a little sister.
I do manage to get a shower every day, usually before lunch, but my poor hair hasn't seen a blowdryer since LONG before Daisy joined the circus, and makeup? Yeah right.  My belly is nice and round and pudgy, I look like I'm about six months pregnant.  Well, I look like a normal person would look at six months, I was already huge by six, so that's not exactly honest.  My feet are still swollen (when I can see them) and my fingers are still too fat for my wedding ring, but we're getting there.  Slowly but surely.  After all, it's only been two weeks.  Sigh.  That's what I keep telling myself anyway.

Today Nick has duty, so I think Michelle might be taking the big kids to the beach.  She's still having some serious jet lag, so she wakes up for the day at like one in the morning and can't get back to sleep.  I don't know how she stays awake!!! I mean, I know not everyone likes to get a good solid fourteen hours of sleep like yours truly, but come on, three hours isn't enough to LIVE on!!! Is it? I would literally kill myself.

Is it me, or does Scott look like some sort of doll? Some sort of cute, slightly creepy doll....

So that's Engelbrecht life lately.  We still have a bunch of boxes waiting to be unpacked in the closets.  There's about two million closets in this house.  Although no hall closet for the vacuum, and no pantry.  Julie unpacked my kitchen when we moved in, and I'm not sure where some stuff is, and I haven't even bothered to look for it.  The kids' blackout shades are in a huge stack in a closet, not blocking out any of the sunlight that's waking them up too early.  I haven't scrapped a single page since before Christmas.  This is pretty much all I want to do.... that's pretty much all I do.  Can you blame me?
