Well, it's my last day with my beloved Mac Mac. In case you're wondering, the Mac is the laptop, and the Mac Mac, or Real Mac, is the desktop. That way I can tell my babies apart. I was so starry eyed and in love when I decided I needed a Mac Mac, I didn't read the fine print on our Express Shipment notes. It says right there in black and white, no monitors over nineteen inches. And what did I do? I went out and bought the twenty seven inch. Which I love more than my own children, don't get me wrong, but I'm a little pissed that we spent all that money and now it's going to sit in a box on a ship for three months.
My sweet sweetie- he knows how heartbreaking this separation is going to be, so he offered to take the Mac Mac with him when he rides to Hawaii on the boat. Sucker won't fit down the hatch. How fricking BIG is my Mac Mac?!?!?!
Anyway. My Mac (the laptop, keep up ladies!) is just as good, just without a screen big enough to do life sized edits of Daisy June, so I'll still LITERALLY be able to be just as computer addicted as ever. But still, it's sad to see it go, I'm not going to lie. All of it, not just my beloved Mac Mac. I thought I was all gung ho and ready to leave, but I gotta say...it's a little tougher than I thought it would be. Gab Gab...how can I leave Gab Gab? I haven't figured out a way to put into words how BREATHTAKINGLY AMAZING Gab Gab beach is. Trust me, I've tried. From the ease of parking, to the grass, to the gorgeous trees, to the shallow water, to the lack of surf, to the indescribable sunsets...I just can't express my love of that beach. I can't. And I know Hawaii is going to be AH-MAY-ZING, but c'mon. There's nothing like Gab Gab in the entire world. It's truly got a special place in my heart.
And it doesn't help that all this stuff, MY STUFF, that they're wrapping in brown paper is going to be GONE until January tenth, you know? That's a LONG time to go without my stuff. All our other moves were normal, Auburn to Charleston, Auburn to Virginia, Virginia to Connecticut...and then for Connecticut to Guam, I said goodbye to all my worldly goods and moved in with my mom and got to use all HER worldly goods for three months. Not so much this time around.
What the hell? This is a post of Halloween pictures. What am I talking about?!?!
Okay, here we go. Here I go, here I go, here I go again, girls what's my weakness? MEN! Name that song. Anyway. My weakness is apparently the Cutest Kids on the Planet!! I never in a million years dreamed that I would think kids in halloween costumes were cute. Ever. My, how the mighty have fallen.
That up there was on the way to school. The boys had their costume party on the same day as Ava. Pretty damn convenient if you ask me.
Daisy...I'll just let this picture speak for itself. And no, I did NOT make her wear it. I took the pictures, then changed her and she went to the costume party dressed up as a regular little baby.
Here's Scott's class. Plus Warren. In an AWESOME change of events, the school opened ALL four classrooms so I could keep an eye on all my kids at once. Where was THAT idea when I had three different kids in three different classrooms?
Here's Scott raising his hand. That's a special kid. I mean, SPECIAL.
Also SPECIAL? Daisy. Eating the wrapper from some candy. That she found on the floor.
And then we have actual Halloween Night. Hold your AAAAWWWWEEEEEs till the end please.
And what is UP with this face?!?! That's NOT going to work for me. At ALL.
And for the actual Trick or Treating. Yes, Mom, I did go. I was just messin with you.
I only took about six pictures. I wasn't in the mood. And it was raining.
But how effing cute are his little BOOTIES!?!?!?!?!
Also, how cute is his face here? He found this Super Why doll and became OBSESSED. It was eerie. And super cute :)
Happy Halloween. Such a stupid holiday.
