Disney Character Breakfast

This is a quick post, mainly to get the pics up.  You know how I love pics of my kids ;)

On Saturday, we went to the Disney Resort Hotel for their character breakfast buffet.  It was AMAZING.  Not surprising, all things Disney have been (in my vast experience) phenomenal.  Great service, friendly, high prices, but hey, sometimes you get what you pay for, right?  I just love Disney.  That's one of the things I miss most about being in the states, being able to go to Disney World.  Sigh.  Se la vie, how are you supposed to spell that?

Anyway, after you get your table ticket (huh?) you can go get your pictures done!!  I don't feel like scanning the professional shot, so here's my own version.

Now, for those of you interested, it's not QUITE like the real Disney.  We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and that animal from Lilo and Stitch.  The dog?  This day (maybe it's different on other days?) there were no princesses or other characters.  I'm not complaining, I'm just letting you know what to expect if you want to give it a shot.

I'm pretending that Daisy June LOVED it, because she hasn't been to Real Disney yet!! Gasp, I know!!
This Goofy...she started SCREAMING right after I shot this, and instead of getting out of her sightline, he stuck around trying to make her laugh.  Which, naturally, just made her scream even more.

Here's hoping this isn't Ava's new 'camera face,' know what I'm saying? She sure did it a lot that day though...

Isn't this gorgeous? I'm thinking I might get back on my Renewing Our Vows and Having Another Awesome Wedding for our Tenth Anniversary idea.

Then we headed down to the beach.  Remember, this resort hotel is on that Ko'oolina Lagoons I was telling ya'll about earlier.

My little fish.  I need to get this kid back in swim lessons.

Daisy June didn't seem to mind at all that the water was FREEZING.

There you go.  Bottom line? It was a blast.  Can't wait to go back with the card that Grandpa Kenny got us for a free night!!!

  1. Great pictures. I can't wait to see them from when you stay there. We were hoping to splurge and stay a few nights on our way back but I don't think we're going to have time.

  2. I hate when kids go through that stupid smile phase. My son now smiles for the camera with only his bottom teeth showing. I am not a fan.
