Menu Plan Monday (4/1 thru 4/7)

Dang  Not only is it ANOTHER Monday, but it's APRIL.  I'm not even kidding!! Did you know it was April? Don't lie.

In other news, I keep double spacing and waiting for my computer to throw a period on, like my phone does.  Stupid computer.  Time for a new one :)

Just kidding.  I'm going to be buried with this computer I love it so much.

We had an amazing weekend.  I can't put my finger on what made it so great, but it was.  We had great friends over on Friday, went to a great pool birthday party for Ava's bestie Anna on Saturday, ran some errands, went to Target, found a great new (AMAZING) church, grocery shopped... I don't know.  It's been a while since I sat down on Sunday evening and thought Damn, that was a good one.

THEN, after I sat down and had that mind blowing thought, I climbed into bed to watch The Killing.  I told you Holder wasn't a douche!! I KNEW he wasn't dirty, I just knew it.  But I hope they don't spend the entire season waiting for Linden to figure that out, I want them together, as partners.  In the EW article, they had him and her in a scene together at his place, which leads me to believe they get it figured out sort of quickly.

My heart broke for him last night when that bald asshole (who IS that guy? Did I miss something? Is that his old boss from when he was in narcotics? Why is he hanging around all the time?) told him that he was a moron and the only reason he made detective was because he was a junkie that they could use to do shady things.  BROKE. MY. HEART.  That look on his face!! Man.  He looked like a little boy who just learned there's no Santa.  And then when he was pounding on the hotel door and that bitch Linden wouldn't let him in...man!!

Watch this show.  You will NOT regret it.

Anyway.  On to the menu.

Sunday: Beef Stew and Rosemary Rolls, part of the A&J Tackle PW challenge.  Review at the end of the week, but I already know it's going to be amazing.  A little birdie told me.

Monday: Taco Soup.  My absolute favorite recipe.  My mouth is watering just typing this out.

Tuesday: Shepherd's Pie, part of the A&J Tackle PW challenge.

Wednesday: order a pizza for Scott's birthday.  He's been talking about it all week.  What a weirdo.  He wants pepperoni and pineapple, instead of ham and pineapple.  Ugh.

Thursday: Honey Plum Soy Chicken, part of the A&J Tackle PW challenge. Busy week for A&J huh?

Friday: leftovers, or more likely, breakfast.  We'll be getting ready for the party.

Saturday: Scott's birthday party!! No menu, but it's going to be good.  I can feel it.
