Having Coffee

If we were having coffee, I'd be having mine iced bc I am sick of winter and fake it till you make it. Although I feel like that doesn't work with weather?

I would BEG you to help solve my itchy head problem. I don't have lice, I swear. And I don't have dandruff flakes. I just have an itchy head. I've had it a few times before, only in winter, so I'm assuming it's bc the heater dries out the air? But before, a few weeks of washing with neutrogena t gel was enough. Not so this year. The itchiness drives me to distraction!! What a stupid phrase, but it fits. I think about it constantly, and at night when I'm sleeping and can't control myself (and sometimes during the day bc let's face it- self control isn't my strongest suit) I scratch hard enough on my forehead hairline to draw blood.

So fix it, please. Maybe your Google will come up with something my google hasn't. I've got the t gel. Maybe the British version isn't the same? It sure smells the same. Gross. I've ordered some peppermint and tea tree oil shampoo but that was completely useless. So now I pour a huge dollop of that in my hand and add three drops each of tea tree oil and peppermint oil and then scrub that all over and leave it on as long as I'm in there.

No idea if it's helping or not. Ugh. It really itches y'all!!!

  1. Oh man - how frustrating! I'll have to google and get back to you on that. My guess is that it's dryness, like you said. Maybe massage olive oil in your scalp?

    1. That's where I'm headed next. Although the very idea grosses me out.

  2. I have the same issue during winter. I actually have to use an RX for it to be a little under control. My face and scalp get all flaky and itchy.

I so feel your pain right now.
